Description
1920’s Lidded Bowl Collection. Working out of his studios in Philadelphia, Carl Sorensen was an early competitor to Louis Tiffany, before joining Tiffany as a designer. Where he worked through the 1920’s & 30’s. His pieces are distinguishable by their green mottled verdigris with bronze high lites and finials on the exterior, with polished bronze surfaces on the interior. An incredible testament to the genius of the Arts & Crafts movement, his work includes vessels and utilities of all types; Cups, Bowls, Compotes, Candle Holders, Trays, Boxes, and many more.
Each one is a statement piece, signed, rare, and very collectable.
